The month of December started off with a trip to Callaway Gardens with the cousins,they all had a great time..it was cold but we bundled up and rode the trolley, Harper clapped and said "ooh" the whole time!
The next weekend we celebrated our sweet nephews 1st Birthday party!
The next morning we all(My brother and sister-in-law and their 2 kids,along with my mom,aunt and uncle) loaded up and drove to Chattanooga to spend the night at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and ride the Polar express.
The train was just OK, I guess I expected it to be better?? But the kids had fun..we thought Harper was going to be OK when Santa got on the train because she was waving and clapping to him but the closer he got the more nervous she got!
I think the kids had the most fun playing no destroying the hotel room. The hotel had Elves come read a bedtime story..we were afraid that they would be scared of the elves but they loved it!
The next week Santa came to visit us!
Harper wasn't so sure about him..toward the end of the visit she warmed up but never really wanted him to get close to her! The rest of the month we spent getting ready for Christmas and visiting with friends and family! On Christmas Eve Harper was sick,for the first time ever she had a little fever..she was pitiful but didn't let it get her down!
Before we went to bed we had to sprinkle the reindeer food that Santa sent us in the yard!
Then we went to bed and Santa came!!!
Long blog short we had a great Christmas!!
